OXO Gallery London - May 2004

We are very proud to announce the recent show of Ioan's at The Gallery@OXO & Bargehouse in London. The expressive potential of forms shaped out of incandescent glass reinforces Ioan Nemtoi as one of Europe's most original contemporary glassblowers. Following the success of his gallery in SoHo, NY, this is the Romanian artits's first solo show in the UK. My Extravaganza introduces functional objects and decorative glassware in The Gallery@OXO alongside large installations displayed over four floors of Bargehouse. The exhibitions coincides with the Tate Modern's retrospective of Brancusi sculptures, five minutes walk from Oxo Tower Wharf.
